Wilderness Island is an island paradise perfectly positioned in the pristine wilderness that makes up the Eastern side of the Exmouth Gulf. The island is around 1,6km long and 800m wide and features sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, sand dunes, and mangroves.
The pristine waters host an unimaginable variety of marine life including whales, dugongs, manta rays, turtles, dolphins and is one of Australia’s premier fishing destinations.

Perth to Exmouth
Wilderness Island is located in the North West Coral Coast region of Western Australia. Around 770 miles (1200km) from Perth. Fly or drive from Perth to Exmouth. If flying, Qantas is the only airline that fly's to Exmouth. Approximately 1.5 hrs and flights are available 7 days a week.
Plane - Exmouth to Island
Approximately 15 minutes by plane. Highly Recommend, not only for the spectacular scenic flight but also due to inclement weather that can affect boat transfers.
